Toy Story
The opening sequence
varies between, wide, long, high angle, point of view and close up shots.
Little of the
narrative is shown during the opening sequence however there is an introduction
to the majority of the main characters.
All of the institutional
elements are identified first followed by the credits and the title.
The soft and gentle
music suggests it’s a soft-hearted film.
The friendly cartoon
characters and the vibrant colouring scheme suggest that the film is intended
for a young target audience.
All typography is
the same font but varies in size. The font is fun, bold and childish to accommodate
the target audience.
